The Emotional Resilience Blueprint

Online cancer survivor support group for women who want to feel like themselves again after treatment.

Through somatic healing and guided emotional regulation, I’ll help you feel calmer post-treatment, release the stress still held in your body, and rediscover your sense of purpose  – so you can finally feel great again after cancer, instead of just saying you do.

You’ve been done with treatment for a while, but you’re still wondering:

“What happens next? What happens after?”

Because for a time, you weren’t sure there would be an after…and now that it’s here, you’re not sure how to feel. You want to reconnect with yourself (or even just know who you are, at this point), but you feel like a completely different person as you try to navigate life as a cancer survivor.

All that’s left is to go back to “normal” – so what are you supposed to do when you don’t feel normal?

It likely feels like everyone around you expects you to be just fine after you’re medically cleared, but you didn’t expect…

  • To still feel so exhausted 24/7, despite not being in active treatment

  • For going back to work to feel so difficult

  • To end up being the one that comforts people around you when talking about your cancer, leaving no space for your own processing

  • To feel more irritated, anxious, and reactive than happy – and maybe a little guilty for having such a short fuse lately

  • To not be able to “move on”

If this is you, I need you to know:

What you’re experiencing is more common than you’d think – and you’re not going crazy.

To put it very lightly, you’ve been through a lot lately. While your physical symptoms were constantly addressed during cancer treatment, your emotional symptoms likely were not – which is why you feel like a completely different person than before your diagnosis (and like no one has noticed it except you).

Your body doesn’t know that you opted into treatment to keep yourself alive – but it does know that it experienced trauma.

And while you’ve been undergoing treatment after treatment, your body has been in constant “fight, flight, fawn or freeze” mode the whole time – which is exactly why you’re still exhausted, feel like you’re constantly “overreacting,” and can’t seem to find your way back to yourself.

There’s nothing wrong with you; your nervous system is simply trying to catch up with all that’s happened – which is exactly what I’m here to support you with.

Introducing

The Onco-Somatic Circle

An online cancer survivor support group and coaching course for women struggling to return to “normal” after treatment. Here, you’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, release stored trauma, and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that you thought were lost to treatment.

This isn’t another broad recommendation to “reduce stress” – it’s a guided, science-backed approach that will help you actually do it.

The Onco-Somatic Circle experience is designed to guide you through three key phases of healing – so your body, mind, and spirit can finally start working together again.

Rest

You’ll learn how to finally slow down without feeling guilty – to listen when your body asks for rest and give yourself permission to take it. Through gentle guidance and reflection, you’ll start creating space for real recovery instead of running on empty.

REGULATE

You’ll start reconnecting with your body through simple, guided practices that help you feel calmer and more in control. These somatic exercises gently teach your body that it’s safe again: easing tension, quieting anxiety, and helping you move through emotions instead of holding them in.

RECONNECT

Finally, you’ll rediscover the parts of yourself that may have felt lost during treatment: your curiosity, creativity, and sense of joy. This phase helps you get clear on what you want life to look like now, and begin moving forward with a deeper connection to who you are and what truly matters to you.

“You have helped me, guided me, provided tools and resources to find me again, to step into the new me. You’ve encouraged me to dare to dream again, to step into hope, to understand and realize that tears are medicine - that they’re not a sign of weakness, giving up, or even selfishness. You’ve helped me get back into my art and find healing through creativity again. The hard work you’ve coached me through this far has forever changed my life and my little family.”

Meet Your Cancer Coach

Hi! I’m Marie Miao, LCSW and coach for cancer survivors.

After working as a therapist in a cancer center for over a decade, I noticed something missing in survivorship care: support for what happens after treatment. So many women are told they’re “done” – yet still feel anxious, exhausted, and disconnected.

Through my own experience with medical trauma and chronic fatigue (and my experiences with clients), I learned that healing doesn’t stop when treatment does – which is exactly why I created this cancer survivor support group. Now, I help women regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with themselves, and find a lightness to life again after cancer.

You’re not doing anything wrong

When your body has been through trauma, healing can’t happen by only talking about it. Your mind might understand that you’re logically safe now – but the body doesn’t always get the message. This program bridges that gap, helping your nervous system catch up to your recovery – so you can actually feel the calm you’ve been trying to think your way into.

There’s a reason talk therapy hasn’t felt like enough to help you heal.

“Working with Marie has been such a wonderful experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I found that using the somatic movement exercises she recommends has helped me understand my body’s reactions to everyday triggers more deeply. I use the somatic techniques, on a regular basis to help me navigate through stress and everyday challenges that come after a cancer diagnosis. I would highly recommend Marie to anyone looking for help going deeper in their healing process and looking for new tools to help them find their way back to feeling like themselves again.”

-Anna Wassman, 2x breast cancer survivor and founder of Onco-Ballet

I created The Onco-Somatic Circle for you if you…

  • Have spent years being the caretaker for your family & friends – and quietly resent that no one showed up for you the way you’ve always shown up for them.

  • Still feel exhausted no matter how much you rest, and wonder if anyone else really understands what “cancer fatigue” feels like.

  • Catch yourself snapping at people you love and think, “I didn’t used to be like this.

  • Keep hearing “you look great!” but can’t help thinking, “Then why don’t I feel great?”

  • Feel guilty for not being “grateful enough” when deep down, you’re still processing everything that happened.

  • Struggle to explain what you need – or feel like it’s easier to say “I’m fine” than risk making someone else uncomfortable.

  • Wonder if the part of you that used to be spontaneous, playful, or creative will ever come back.

Go from “just fine” to finally free.

For months (maybe years) you’ve been saying you’re fine: fine at work, fine at home, fine when someone asks how you’re really doing. But underneath the brave face, you’re still carrying the weight of everything your body and mind have been through.

The Onco-Somatic Circle helps you move from surviving to truly living again, with tools that restore your energy, help you set boundaries, and allow you to finally be present with your friends and family again – without spiraling about what’s next.

Every part of The Onco-Somatic Circle was designed to support real healing – not just surface-level coping.

Body-First Healing

Most programs talk about mindset. This one starts with your body – because until your nervous system feels safe, your mind can’t truly rest.

Clinical Roots, Compassionate Approach

This approach blends evidence-based trauma work with creative, intuitive practices, helping you reconnect with your inner calm and confidence in a way that feels both grounded and deeply human.

Expert Guidance + Community Support

You’ll be surrounded by people who get it, and guided by someone who’s walked alongside women through this exact stage of recovery. Between live calls, gentle coaching, and a private space to connect, you’ll have steady support as you find your way forward.

Healing starts with safety.

Instead of trying to think your way out of anxiety (or caffeinate your way out of exhaustion), I’ll help you calm your body first – because when your body feels safe, your mind can finally follow.

Here’s what happens when true healing takes place:

Instead Of…

  • Feeling “wired but tired” and constantly running on empty

  • Snapping at people you love, then feeling terrible about it

  • Wondering why you “should” feel grateful – but don’t

  • Forcing yourself to keep up with everyone’s pace

You’re…

  • Rested, steady, and tuned in to what your body actually needs

  • Responding instead of reacting, with more calm and clarity

  • Feeling lighter, more present, and genuinely connected to yourself again

  • Moving through life with ease, energy, and confidence in yourself

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To make sure you get the most out of the experience, I recommend starting this program when your appointments and treatment schedule have slowed down and won’t interfere with you joining coaching calls (Thursdays at 5:15 pm PST), but you can always book a call with me to ask questions about your specific situation!

  • Because The Onco-Somatic Circle is a coaching program, not medical treatment – it isn’t eligible for insurance reimbursement or HSA/FSA funds. To make the program more accessible, payment plans and “buy now, pay later” options are available.

  • Not at all. The Onco-Somatic Circle can complement therapy beautifully, but it’s designed as a standalone support for women who are ready to reconnect with their bodies and emotions after treatment.

  • Talk therapy works through your mind. This program works through your body. Using somatic tools, guided visualization, and gentle nervous system exercises, you’ll learn to calm your body’s stress response so true healing can happen.

  • That’s totally okay – everything is explained step-by-step, with guided videos and examples. You’ll have multiple techniques to try, so you can choose what feels most natural and supportive for you.

  • Every call is recorded, and you’ll have four months of access to replays. You can listen back anytime, and still participate fully inside our private community, The Thriving Cancer Circle.

  • Forever. Once you join, you’ll have lifetime access to all 12 weeks of content — plus any future updates or additions (which, honestly, are worth the investment on their own).

  • That’s a valid concern – and exactly why this program exists. Everything is paced intentionally, with built-in rest and reflection. You’ll never be pushed to move faster than you’re ready. Healing happens gently here.

  • Yes. Clients at every stage of treatment, including stage 4, have found value in this program. You’ll learn practical tools to support your nervous system, foster a greater sense of autonomy, and find steadiness through ongoing or maintenance treatments.

  • Yes, you can — click here to purchase the course content for just $697 and upgrade to include community support at any time.

It’s time to stop just surviving
and start feeling safe again.

When you calm your nervous system and reconnect with yourself, you can finally move through life without the constant undercurrent of fear, fatigue, or “what ifs.” You deserve to rest, breathe, and trust that your body (and your future) are yours again.
