Hi! I’m Marie Miao, LCSW and coach for cancer survivors.

After working as a therapist in a cancer center for over a decade, I noticed something missing in survivorship care: support for what happens after treatment. So many women are told they’re “done” – yet still feel anxious, exhausted, and disconnected.

Through my own experience with medical trauma and chronic fatigue (and my experiences with clients), I learned that healing doesn’t stop when treatment does – which is exactly why I created this cancer survivor support group. Frequently Asked Questions

I’m currently in treatment for cancer. Is this program right for me?

You’re welcome here. Many women have joined while still completing their final infusions or appointments. Just keep in mind that treatment can make it harder to find time or energy for the lessons – and that’s okay. You can move through the material at your own pace and revisit it whenever you’re ready.

Can I use insurance/HSA/FSA?

Because The Emotional Resilience Blueprint is a coaching program, not medical treatment – it isn’t eligible for insurance reimbursement or HSA/FSA funds. To make the program more accessible, payment plans and “buy now, pay later” options are available.

Do I need to be in therapy to join?

Not at all. The Emotional Resilience Blueprint can complement therapy beautifully, but it’s designed as a standalone support for women who are ready to reconnect with their bodies and emotions after treatment.

I’ve already tried talk therapy — how is this different?

Talk therapy works through your mind. This program works through your body. Using somatic tools, guided visualization, and gentle nervous system exercises, you’ll learn to calm your body’s stress response so true healing can happen.

What if I’ve never done somatic work before?

That’s totally okay – everything is explained step-by-step, with guided videos and examples. You’ll have multiple techniques to try, so you can choose what feels most natural and supportive for you.

What if I can’t attend the live group calls?

Every call is recorded, and you’ll have four months of access to replays. You can listen back anytime, and still participate fully inside our private community, The Thriving Cancer Circle.

How long will I have access to the course materials?

Forever. Once you join, you’ll have lifetime access to all 12 weeks of content — plus any future updates or additions.

What if I’m worried this will be too emotional for me right now?

That’s a valid concern – and exactly why this program exists. Everything is paced intentionally, with built-in rest and reflection. You’ll never be pushed to move faster than you’re ready. Healing happens gently here.
